Alone

Alone in the dark, I am afraid why I don’t fit in this world of desires

Where the tracks are wide but not the time that one admires

Haunting by the pain, there are no tears left to cry

When the mask is broken, and smiles turns dry

 

Alone in the crowd, I am afraid to left alone in this show

Where people only came to use you just to let you go

Those eyes have seen enough, enough to walk away

From the lives where explanations of actions are what they crave

 

Alone in the time, I am afraid if the needles of the clock would fade

Where love is a new trend, to give every second of heartbreaks

Ignorance is in one’s behavior, the other would silently suffer in the pain

Every effort is worth loving but the someday the person not getting it back would drain

 

Alone in the life, I am afraid to cry in all those nights

Where I fight my demons to save my soul from doing the ultimate crime

Maybe the good people are good to be left alone

Vibing in their sadness and loved to be thrown

 

Alone in my loneliness, I am afraid if I am not anymore with me

If this is the last time, happily my eyes would be closed just to see

Even if this life was a lie, the truth to live it makes me blind

To overlook the reality of this life which none of us can ever find.
